Isago looked into her eyes and resolved to stay in the dark tunnels, so long as it made Ash happy. He knew he would have to get used to being around so many others, but at least they shared a common enemy, and they knew the struggle of having powers. Of being unwanted by the human society. Isago figured that there were worse places to me. Isago sat up suddenly, leaning over Ash with a smile on his face.
"I'm so happy to have met you, Ash," he said, "I feel like... like everything is so wonderful now. I always used to think the world was cold and unfriendly. But now that I have you... I can't help but be glad."

Ash was beyond happy that Isago had decided to stay with her. He was the first person Ash ever had feelings towards, if he would've left, she would've been broken.
"I'm glad I met you too" she said. "I was always kind of lonely here" she explained "I mean I have friends but no one I feel connected too. But with you here, I finally feel connected and not alone anymore."

Isago looked at her thoughtfully for a moment. His cheeks turned a little pink and he looked down at their intertwined hands.
"Ash... could... would you mind if I kissed you?" He asked shyly.

Ash smiled at Isago. She thought it was sweet that he was asking first, and found his blush adorable. "I wouldn't mind" she replied.

Leaning forward, Isago gently pressed his lips against Ash's. He obviously had only had one kiss before - when Ash kissed him upon waking up - and he was surprised by how much he liked it. It felt natural, good, comforting. Lifting one hand, Isago brushed a lock of Ash's red hair behind her ear, leaving his hand there to brush her cheek. He broke the kiss after a few seconds and then smiled at her, his cheek still red even though he felt next to no embarrassment anymore.

Ash felt the welcome pressure of Isago's lips on hers. She gently returned the kiss, smiling into it when she felt him brush her hair behind her ear. She felt him pull back and smiled brightly at him. She noticed the pink on his cheeks, and could feel the heat on her own.

Isago grinned at Ash and stroked her cheek gently. He was surprised at how natural it all felt. He'd been so disconnected from human society for so long, he would have thought it would be difficult to get used to being loved - especially with the sort of love he felt for Ash. But it came to him as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
"I love you, Ash. I don't care how sappy it sounds, I'll say it all the time, all day long if you want." He said, "Because it's true."

Ash's heart skipped a beat at his words. No one had ever said anything like that ot her before. "I love you too" she said. "And I don't think it's sappy, I think its adorable" she added.

Isago blushed again and smiled happily.
"I'm glad," he said quietly. Leaning forward, he kissed her cheek. "I'm very glad." He repeated, grinning at her, his pupil-less turquoise eyes shinning.

Ash blushed even brighter as he kissed her cheek. "Me too" she said. Her amber eyes sparkled with love and happiness and her smile mirrored that.

Isago smiled. He couldn't help but grin when he could see that someone, at last, loved him. He'd never thought the day would come, but here it was, and he couldn't be happier. Isago started when he heard a noise coming towards them, sitting back down on his cot, feeling a bit embarrassed as he flashed Ash a sheepish grin.
"Hey there," Falling Star said as she appeared into their small shared area in the hospital wing. "How are you two feeling?"

Ash smiled back at Isago, hearing the approaching footsteps. She turned her head and caught sight of Falling Star. "Amazing" she said, glancing over at Isago "and a little sore." The pain in her arm didn't register until Falling Star walked in, Isago had made her forget all about it.

Falling Star nodded, letting a small smile flicker over her usually stern features.
"I'm glad to hear it. Shadow told me when your patrol returned that you'd had a mishap and had gone missing for the time being. I am glad to see you safe. Perhaps now you would be so kind as to introduce me to your new friend?" The General's eyebrows rose slightly as she glanced at the red-headed boy sitting beside Ash.

"Yeah there was an incident" Ash said. "But luckily he helped me and brought me back here" she added, gesturing to Isago. "Falling Star this is Isago, Isago, this is Falling Star" she introduced them to each other. She was hoping that the general let him stay, if she didn't then Ash would walk out with him.

"A pleasure," Falling Star said, smiling at Isago. "And are you planning on staying with us long, Isago?" She watched as he glanced at Ash, and it did not take her long to recognize the look on his face. Star had lived too many years in this world to not know what it was that passed between them.
"I'm going to stay, if that's okay," Isago said carefully.
"Of course," Falling Star replied at once. "We would be happy to have you." She smiled and then glanced at Ash with a knowing look in her eye.
"Thanks." Isago sighed, relieved.
"Where would you like me to organize a room for you?" She asked. Isago hesitated and then glanced at Ash, not really knowing what to say.
