Golden eyes boredly scan the pathetic excuse of a plate of food before him as he carelessly pushed a small potato around it with a silver fork. He could hear Helga and Fred hissing at each other as they circled his feet. White, longish fingers twirled the eating utensil in his hand, making the potato fall off the plate and roll off the table, falling to the floor with a small thud. Vanessa, who had been merrily circling his wrist, watching him toy with his food, slithered down his leg and onto the floor, coiling around the small potato. "What's in your mind..?" She hissed, biting into the potato and slithering back up the doctor's body, depositing the tuberculous back in his plate. "Nothing.." He murmured, stroking the black snake's head. "I'm fine, Vanessa.."
Snake pushed back his plate of food, not really hungry, causing both Helga and Fred to look up. "Are we going back to the hospital wing..?" Hissed Fred, his bluish green scales gleaming as he slithered towards the man. "No, let's stay here a bit.." Snake murmured, offering Helga a hand so she could get onto him, too. She gladly took it, coiling her red and white self around his hand. "We've been locked in there for too long already." |

A hyper red head bounced down the halls of the order. His stomach was growling so Rabbit was on a quest for food. He stopped at the cooks and grabbed a burger and fries before turning to see who was in the dining hall. He noticed a few familar faces and then landed on Snake, sitting by himself. He took his tray and bounced over towards Snake's table. "Hello Doc" he said, placing his tray on the table and sitting down.

Snake looked up at the sound of the red-head's voice. "Hi, Rabbit, says Vanessa." Snake voiced, as usual not speaking directly but through his snakes. Fred slithered up his neck, looking to coil around the man's incredibly pale blond hair, pushing back some of the locks that fell over his face. "What can we do for you, says Fred." He added, pushing his plate out of the way with one pale, scaled hand, so the other mutant could eat comfortably.

Rabbit took a bite of his burger, as Snake passed on the messages from his snakes. "Hello Vanessa" he said with a smile, looking at the snake. He then turned to Fred "Nothing, I just thought I'd come say hi" he replied. "So how are you guys?" he asked, accustomed to talking to the snakes as well as the doctor.

Snake watched Helga uncoil from him and slither over to Rabbit, her red and white body forming consecutive waves as she moved. He switched his gaze back to the man in front of him, knowing that the snake would cause no harm. "We're fine, say Vanessa, thanks for asking." The doctor yet again voiced as the black mamba surrounded his neck, playing the role of a tie. "How are you feeling, asks Fred." Snake said, keeping a golden eye on the other female snake, who was slithering out the door.
Where are you going..? Snake thought, closing his eyes momentarily. He was immediately inside Helga's head.
I want some mice, I'm getting some. He heard her reply, as clearly as if she had been hissing it into his ear.
Snake opened his eyes again. |

Rabbit watched as one of Snake's snakes, slithered toward him, he believed it was Helga. He held out his hand and stroked her as she slithered by and out of the dining hall. "I'm fine, just hungry" he said in reply to Fred's question. He took a couple fries and shoved them into his mouth.
