Smoothful wind{open}

A girl with green hair pulled up and parked the touring vehicle. She decided to travel up north for the next few days to visit and check everything out. She enjoyed the freedom of traveling the world. She did miss her parents and wished to see them once more.. However both were killed. She stepped out of the car the wind catching her long pale green hair. She wore a nice pretty short blue dress today. The sleeves where really pretty and were each individual straps that caught the wind.


She took in a deep breath of the cool winter wind. she felt a small shiver and pulled the warm wind currents to wrap around her. She immediately stopped shaking as they swam around her keeping her warm.

She started walking the sidewalk focusing on one location. The Mall. She had heard about some sort of disturbance was happening there. Something about a mutant getting their powers. She walked right into the doors of the mall to see the floors all soaked with water. People already left... All that was left was the employees and news people.. Amazing that the military hadn't gotten there yet.

She walked further into the mall on the main floor. Her heels clicking on the wet floors. She came to the mid point of the mall. She looked down the railing to see the first floor flooded with water. Shaking her head and went to the broken exculator and walked the steps. She saw a boy of thirteen setting on a chair crying...

She walked up to him and gently touched him. He flinched and shot a jet of water straight at her. Forcing her to separate the chemical bond.. Making the water in the area turn into hydrogen and oxygen molecules. "Are you okay?"

[/color] she asked kindly. The boy shook his head confused.. As water started shielding his body against her touch. She soon was unable to touch him.. It seemed as if the water was some sort of shield.. The water then was pulled into the air and he formed into the futile position as the water held and protect him.[/blockquote][/size]

Blade walked along the top floor of the mall, his black boots making a heavy clunking noise with each step. He silently cursed the water mutant that decided to let their powers run wild. He looked down to his uncovered metal hand, the glove lost in the water below. "It better not rust" he muttered.

Movement cuaght his golden gaze as he saw a green haired girl walk into the mall. He decided to see what she was doing and follwed her as she approached the boy that caused all the problems. He was wary of her origins, human or mutant, so he quickly stuck his hand in the pocket of his red jacket.

frustrated by the shield the kid had created Ashly sighed and closed her eyes focusing on the water ball finding the weak elements. She then used her powers and separated the water element into hydrogen and oxygen once more. This time She grabbed the kid who looked tired and weak. She started walk out out of the mall. When the kid suddenly reached consciousnesses and pretty much fought her and well forced her to let go. When he hit the ground he ran and quickly. straight up the elevator and toward the exit. Frustrated y the turn of events. Ashly just plopped down on a red decorative coach made for mall shoppers to take a break on. It wasn't as soft as a coach but it sufficed.

Blade watched as the kid fought of the mystery girl and bolted. He just shook his head and let out a small chuckle. The girl looked to have years onthe kid and be possibly older than himself, but she couldn't keep the little brat under control.

He decided to take pity on her and pushed off the wall he was leaning on and walked towards her. He collapsed on the couch next to her, folding his arms behind his head. "Tough break" he said.

She felt a prescence before it spoke. She saw his shadow form the lighting of the mall. She figured the guy was a mutant. Why else approach her after getting rid of all the water?"Yeah.. He's scared....."

[/color] she replied sounding a little depressed. She wasn't being very good at this sort of thing. She sighed and looked up at the mutant that had approached her. She took in a moment to look at the guy's looks. She figured he probably had control of his powers by now. Why else is he not sticking out like a sore thumb. Voices came as more and more normal people came back to the mall. It was amazing how quick they moved after an event. Though the mall would probably have at least half the customers than before...

She looked at her hands unsure of whether or not she should look for the young boy.. she doubted it.. He is bound to reappear some where on the news.[/blockquote][/size]

"Yeah I noticed" Blade said. "So what brings you out here?" he asked. "I don't see many people like me around here" he added. He knew that she'd understand that he meant mutants, people around here didn't mind much, but he still didn't like saying it out loud. He was always careful, he couldn't bear to think about what would happen to Charlie if he was taken.

She answered the guy as simply as possible, "I look for mutants in need of help."

[/color] She looked around to see once more people walking around. She understood, there was little reported out there of mutant activity. Thinking for a moment on her chosen answer she looked back up at the guy and replied,"I like traveling far and wide. I happen to hear a report about that kid.. I decided to drop in and see what was going on."[/color][/blockquote][/size]

Blade listened as she spoke. He understood the travelling thing, him and his brother travelled a lot. "I like travelling too" he said "me and my brother move around a lot." "Oh and the names Blade" he added.

When the guy told her his name she got up from the chair, trying to look as formal as she could. She held out her hand for him to shake, "I'm Mint. Nice to meet you."[/color]

"Likewise" Blade said, shaking her hand carefully with his metal one. He cursed the boy with water powers once again. because of him, his gloves were gone.

Mint suddenly felt something cold like metal on her hand. She looked down to see a metal hand, her eyes widened at the fact. She looked back up at the guy, her face held a questioning look. She soon whipped it away with a pretty smile. "I guess you ability is to turn you body into metal?"[/color] She asked with a half joking voice thinking of her own powers, which her healing was already surging through her body into the boy's hand. She couldn't control the power, it in a way, had a mind of its own. Soon the healing powered healed the sore hand and was immediately going toward the boy's DNA to heal the mutated genetic. Mint immediately pulled away before the healing could heal that. She looked around and smiled. She was in a mall with infinite money and was a girl. "So you want to go shopping?"[/color]

"Not exactly" Blade said in response to her question. "This is just part of my body, I'm not exactly sure how I got it" he explained "but I can manipulate metal." He pondered Mint's question about shopping. He had only come to the mall to pick up some supplies for himself and Charlie, but he supposed shopping with her wouldn't be the worst thing. "Sure, I need to get a few things anyways" he replied.

She nodded and looked both ways not sure were to go. "So. Where do we start?"[/color] she said thinking about clothing and other things.

Blade shrugged as he looked around. "You can choose" he said. He really didn't shop much, trips to malls were usually quickly in and back out getting only the necessities. He rarely spent a long time in a mall.

Looking around Mint decided to head toward the clothing store penny's. "Let's go over there"

[/color] She said pointing to the shop. Before he could respond she headed toward that direction. She went into the shop first and breathed in the scents of new leather and well clothing. She walked around the store a smile plastered onto her face. Some of the shirts looked interesting.. However for the most part she wouldn't wear that. "Wow! These are amazing."[/color] she said picking a random shirt with a nice design. [/blockquote][/size]
