Description:
Collin is 6’0”, weighs around 120 pounds, and looks lanky but is actually pretty well built. He has relatively tan skin, a handsome semi-angular face, and a long straight nose. His hair is coarse and thickly layered, and is naturally black. Collin has slanted eyes that would be cat-like if he had a shorter face. His eyes are pale turquoise, and contrast greatly with his dark hair. He wears size 10 Converse sneakers, a baggy white T-shirt with dark inky designs on it, a mid-length sleeved black T-shirt beneath his white one, and baggy dark jeans that have a few rips and tears in them. Collin has his left ear pierced and wears a small silver ring in it. He also carries around a silver dog tag necklace that belonged to his father.
Abilities/Talents:
Collin has the ability to manipulate water. He can control it, pull it up from the ground and from within plants, and freeze or liquefy it at will. He is strongest when he is in a damp place, and doesn’t like humid areas very much, although he tolerates them when he has to. Collin’s favorite move is to morph a large amount of water into a creature. When he does this, he can imbed for a short amount of time a personal conscience to the creature. This means that the water-animal moves and talks on its own, although still according to its master’s will. This is a more difficult move, however, and Collin can’t control it very well yet. He also has small gills at the side of his neck that are easily disguised but allow him to breathe underwater.
Personality:
Collin is not the smartest guy in the world, but he’s a free spirit with a lot of unique outlooks on life. He tries to stay out of trouble, and is generally thought to be a peacemaker. He likes to help people, and is always willing to give his attention to another’s problems. He gets fidgety when he’s nervous, and likes to crack his knuckles much to the chagrin of those close to him. Collin is talkative, but he has a slight stutter when he’s on edge, so at those times he prefers to stay quiet and focused. Collin likes to spend time alone, but he’s happiest when he has friends around him.
History:
Collin has lived a pretty normal life thus far. His mother and father are doctors. They did not approve much of their youngest son – Collin’s brother, Luke, was their favorite, since he was smart and ambitious while Collin was carefree and more artistic than anything else. That’s why it wasn’t hard for them to throw him out of the house when his powers emerged. Collin discovered that he had the ability to manipulate water soon after his thirteenth birthday. He was on the swim team, and he learned that he could use his uncanny talent to make himself faster in the water. He became successful at that, but at a price. His powers were pretty weak at first, only allowing him miniscule control over water. But when he turned sixteen they started to erupt whenever he was near water. When his parents found out, they sent him off to live on the streets. Collin was never bitter about it, even though he’s had to run away from Hunters and hide and scavenge ever since.
